K.N.o.S.

Knights, Ninjas & other Stuff (K.N.o.S.) is a series largely inspired by shonen anime, super Sentai serials (power rangers), and our experiences as young men growing up in a difficult time. As of right now the series is in its adolescent’s phase, due to our full-time jobs, this slower moving process allows us to flesh out more complicated areas of story design and art profile that we want for this series.

over the next couple of months Kishin Arts is planning on launching our 0 issue for K.N.o.S., this chapter will be introducing you to our cast of 5 young men, a look at the world they inhabit and a feel for the tone we are going for.

Benjamin ‘Jin’ Brix

Benjamin “Jin” Brixton was born on a farm in a small territory in Masston.

The unwanted son of a drunken farmer from a line of disgraced Knights, Jin is determined to change the way his name is spoken.

Hot natured with a cool head; Jin is a born leader that is often on the front line of an issue to witness the change so he can act accordingly.

Not quick to anger is not the same as calm and as such Jin is very passionate about the things he deems important: Family, Honor, and his stead

In his limited free-time Jin is the garage messing with his stead, or watching races.

Matthew ‘Hue’ Galdto

The loyal trader of knowledge

Mathew “Hue” Galdto was born on a trip abroad but grew up in a Wealthy trade territory in Masston.

The son of traders and politicians; the truth of the world was shown to him too early, Hue despises the way people engage with one another and wants to live in peace.

Calm to the point of being cold; Hue is not easy to like, often coming off as an asshole who is looking down at people.

Known to have a book and pen in hand Hue is well versed in many subjects and is often found with his head in book or his nose where it shouldn’t be.

Vincent “Vince” Yawood was born on farm to a big family in Navden .

The oldest of 12 has made Vince protective and head strong making him butt heads with those in authority.

As a man of action Vince is quick to act often leaving others behind as he rushes in to conflict.

Phillip “Phlip” GweNdalin Gilthunder

the link between stupid and clever

Phillip “Phlip” Gwen Gilthunder was born on boat during a storm, least that’s the story he tells as his origin. Phlip was an orphan that was raised on the docks in Connit until his circus was involved in criminal activity. Due to his age Phlip was enrolled in Sandis instead of prison over his involvement.

Quick witted doesn’t mean smart, Phlip is very immature and often speaks before he thinks.

He has little to no formal learning only being able to read simple words and phrases, stating he learns what is need.

Jak

Jacob “Jak” Curlen was born Navden in a territory on the boarder of inGiist.

Quiet too quiet, is the most common way Jak is described, known to keep to himself and yet always around. Jak is an observant person opting to sit back and watch rather than act or take part.

Not one to make friends Jak is easy to get along with once you get him to speak or show interest.

Sneaky by nature Jak seems to be knowledgeable of things unknown to most, but very shares what he knows unless its necessary.

Masston is the industrial capital of Lethea, due in large part to the abundance of Golden weedt and Black roc. This vast reserve of fuel allows Masston to manufacture everything children toys-to-high performance vehicles for both entertainment and combat.

Masston’s Lord Cole takes pride in training the each new generation of protectors, utilizing the rough uncaring terrain through his beautiful state.
